Table Runner

We work with a handful of wonderful fair trade companies that we really love and believe in. This is one of them. We love their environmentally sustainable business practice and supporting them and their amazing mission to bring work to rural weavers in Southern India.

Traditional weavers create these handwoven runners from a blend of banana plant stem and cotton. Banana plants bear fruit only once in their lifetime and head for landfills once the fruit is harvested. Banana plant agricultural waste is re-purposed and transformed into strong, durable, and renewable ropes, to create these exquisite runners.
